Having successfully sued a bed and breakfast owner for discrimination, newlyweds Marc and Fred celebrate by booking a weekend at the offending B&B. The owner, Josh (Paul McGann of the cult classic, WITHNAIL & I), complies with the ruling in the strictest terms possible: the couple can stay, but he has removed all double beds so they can’t sleep together. Complicating their stay is the eager attention of Josh’s closeted son, Paul (fresh-faced newcomer Callum Woodhouse), toward a dangerously sexy – and possibly dangerous in general – Russian, Alexie.

Marc and Fred take matters into their own hands, determined to find evidence to support their suspicions about the terse Russian and spawning a dangerous nighttime search. In his first feature film, writer-director Joe Ahearne mixes Hitchcockian suspense with biting humor for a tense and dark comedy. Outstanding performances by the lead actors, particularly McGann, anchor a story that doesn’t get bogged down by its politics, instead creating a sexually charged edge-of-your-seat thriller.
